The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced a reduction in fuel prices across Kenya, effective Wednesday. Petrol prices will decrease by up to Sh2 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will see a Sh1 per litre drop, attributed to declining global fuel prices.

• Petrol in Nairobi will now retail at Sh182.52, diesel at Sh170.47, and kerosene at Sh153.78 per litre.
• EPRA Director General Daniel Kiptoo stated the reduction reflects lower average landed costs of imported petroleum products.
• The average landed cost of super petrol decreased by 0.10%, diesel by 4.20%, and kerosene by 8.92% from November 2024 to December 2024.
