A US-based labor rights group, China Labor Watch (CLW), alleges that a Chinese factory producing the popular Labubu dolls exploited its workers. The factory, a supplier for toy retailer Pop Mart, is accused of excessive overtime, unclear contracts, and inadequate paid leave.

• CLW claims its investigation included 51 in-person interviews with employees at Shunjia Toys Co Ltd in Guangdong province.
• The factory, identified as a core manufacturing facility for Pop Mart, reportedly employs over 4,500 workers.
• While no child labor was found, 16-year-old workers were allegedly subjected to adult working conditions, violating Chinese law.
