Police are searching for a Nairobi man suspected of beating his teenage daughter, Shirleen Nyangweso, to death in Dandora. The Grade 8 pupil allegedly died after a severe assault by her father, reportedly in the presence of her stepmother, after visiting her biological mother during the December holidays.

• The autopsy revealed Shirleen died from traumatic injuries to the head, chest, and other parts of the body.
• The father reportedly dumped Shirleen's body at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital after she collapsed, then disappeared.
• Shirleen's biological mother reported seeing her daughter with a swollen head, blood on her forehead, and marks on her hands and legs suggesting she had been tied.
