Microsoft has partnered with Kenyan health-tech startup Zendawa to launch an AI-powered platform designed to enhance efficiency, reduce medicine wastage, and boost sales for independent pharmacies across Kenya.

• Pharmacies using the platform have reported significant reductions in expired stock and increased daily sales, with Ryche Pharmacy noting a decrease in monthly losses of "thousands of shillings" from expired stock.
