The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has announced the planned closure of 15 rehabilitation centers in Kenya following a comprehensive national inspection. The review, conducted in November 2025, also found widespread compliance issues and highlighted significant gaps in the country's addiction recovery system.
