The NCBA Golf Series officially launched its sixth edition on Thursday at Karen Country Club, backed by a KSh60 million investment aimed at developing the sport across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

• NCBA renewed partnerships with the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) and the Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) for the 2026 calendar.
• The Junior Golf Foundation will receive KSh12 million to support junior events, while KGU gets KSh6 million for the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) Series.
• The series will feature 35 events in Kenya, with the first leg on January 31, 2026, at Royal Nairobi Golf Club and the Grand Finale on November 27, 2026, at Karen Country Club.
• In total, NCBA will sponsor 166 golf events across the region in 2026, with 90 specifically dedicated to junior tournaments.
• John Gachora, NCBA Group Managing Director, emphasized that the KSh60 million investment goes "beyond sponsorship" and is central to the bank's long-term vision for golf development.
