Eng. Francis Miano has been appointed as the acting Group Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Tea Development Agency Holdings Ltd (KTDA), effective January 16, 2026. He takes over from Wilson Muthaura, who has proceeded on terminal leave.

• Eng. Miano brings more than 30 years of executive experience and previously headed the Group Technical Services Division at KTDA.
• The KTDA Holdings board emphasized his extensive experience and institutional knowledge will guide the agency during this transition.
• KTDA Holdings is responsible for managing Kenya's smallholder tea sector, including tea processing, marketing, and related services.
