- The donation was made by Evans Okello, a casual construction worker, from his Ksh.1 million winnings from the Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) Tuzidi Kuinuana campaign.
- The funds will support the adoption of drought-tolerant sorghum varieties and improved farm inputs for persons with disabilities (PWDs).
- Okello also plans to use part of his winnings to start his own construction equipment hire business, leaving casual labor.
