Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen announced enhanced security measures to ensure the timely completion of the Isiolo-Mandera Regional Road Corridor, a critical project for northern Kenya. The road, part of the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project, aims to boost regional trade and security.

Spanning more than 740 kilometres, the road will connect Kenya to Ethiopia and Somalia.
Murkomen, alongside Roads and Transport CS Davis Chirchir and Defence CS Soipan Tuya, reviewed security arrangements for uninterrupted construction.
