- On January 19, PC Kevin Abuga of Khasoko Police Post was discovered by Asisa Juma, the farmer, sleeping under a tree in his yard.
- Juma had reported his goat missing on the night of January 15, recorded under OB 10/20/01/2026.
- The officer pleaded not to be harmed and offered to pay three times the value of the stolen goat. The case is under investigation by the SCCIO of Bumula.
