Kenya’s agricultural and manufacturing sectors experienced a mixed performance in 2025, according to a report by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). While some areas showed growth, others faced declines.

• Coffee prices rose to KSh 901.71 per kilogram in January to September 2025, up from KSh 590.82 in the same period of 2024.
• Tea export volumes increased to 588,700 tonnes from January to November 2025, compared to 575,800 tonnes in 2024.
• Sugar production declined by 27.2 percent, reaching 551,800 tonnes in 2025.
• Manufacturing saw positive trends, with galvanised sheet production increasing by 16.6 percent and vehicle assembly rising by 15.4 percent.
• The construction sector remained active, with cement production increasing to 9.5 million tonnes in 2025.
