The Kenya China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI) has initiated Phase II of its School Science Popularization Project at Kibera Primary School, donating learning materials and screening an educational film on climate change to promote climate awareness and community empowerment among students.

• The initiative supports 1,864 pupils at Kibera Primary School, one of Nairobi’s oldest public institutions.
• Led by KCCCI Chairman Tim Chen and CEO Blak Aende, the project aims to foster science learning and expose pupils to global challenges like climate change.
• The project emphasizes regular engagement to build friendships between the Chinese community in Nairobi and Kenyan friends, with plans to expand to more schools.
