The condemned content, often in the form of skits and "pranks," trivialises serious issues like intimate partner violence and sexual harassment.

• Flagged content includes scripted skits where women forgive abusers after receiving gifts, and staged sexual harassment videos circulated on platforms like TikTok.
• Wang'ombe emphasised that such content erodes progress in the fight against GBV, makes a mockery of serious crimes, and distorts public understanding, potentially delaying assistance to genuine survivors.
