Two boys from Turkana Central Sub-County, who missed the start of the senior secondary school term due to financial hardship, will now attend school thanks to full scholarships from the KCB Foundation.

• The scholarships cover school fees and basic requirements for the boys admitted to Butere Boys High School and Ambira Boys High School.
• KCB Branch Manager Humphrey Chemiat stated that the selection considered household income, academic performance, and family circumstances, reserving two slots for Turkana through the Lodwar branch.
• This brings the total number of KCB Foundation Grade Ten scholars from Turkana County for 2026 to 17, with this year's intake intentionally including learners with disabilities and teen mothers.
• The KCB Foundation recently unveiled 1,000 scholarship beneficiaries nationwide, committing up to Sh600 million for school fees and other essentials.
