The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has ruled that EasyJet can no longer use the claim "from £5.99" for cabin baggage fees, finding the airline failed to provide evidence that customers could secure this price.

• The ASA told EasyJet it could not use the misleading wording in the future.
• EasyJet stated its website now indicates that fees "vary with demand, route, flight date and time of booking."
• Which? research indicated typical cabin bag prices for EasyJet were five times higher than the advertised £5.99 claim.
