• The officers completed an 18-month United Nations-backed peacekeeping deployment, returning on December 9, 2025, after being deployed in June 2024.
• Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen noted the mission "significantly restored order in Haiti," and National Security Advisor Monica Juma highlighted Kenya’s experience in peace operations.
• Landau also paid tribute to officers who lost their lives during the mission, while Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja thanked the United States for logistical support.
