Kenya's ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party plans to establish a political leadership school modeled after the Communist Party of China's (CPC) training system. A UDA delegation, led by Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan, is currently in China to study CPC expertise in cadre training and grassroots mobilization.

The UDA Party School is in an advanced stage of development, aiming to transition the party from an election machine to a permanent ideological institution that trains leaders for current and future generations across Kenya.
The delegation, including Senator Danson Mungatana and Women’s Representative Cecilia Ngetit, was received at Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou by Lu Qingmin, Deputy Principal of the Zhejiang Provincial Party School.
UDA aims to adapt the CPC’s recruitment strategies, ideological training, and organizational discipline methods to Kenya's democratic framework, focusing on organizational efficiency rather than political ideology.
