Cassava Technologies and AXON Networks have announced a partnership to launch Africa’s first end-to-end Operator-as-a-Service (OaaS) platform. This platform will leverage AXON’s AI-ready technology across Cassava’s extensive high-speed fiber backbone to connect millions across the continent and accelerate digital transformation.

• The partnership was announced at the Counder Conference 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
• President & Group CEO of Cassava Technologies, Hardy Pemhiwa, stated the platform will significantly reduce operational costs and increase access for customers and service providers.
• The OaaS platform will deliver secure, private, high-speed data infrastructure to support mobile network operators, LEO satellite providers, and internet service providers (ISPs).
• AXON’s Digital Twin technology will create a dynamic model of Cassava’s 110,000 km fiber network, enhancing efficiency and connectivity.
