Police in Kericho are investigating after a woman was found dead with stab wounds at a lodging in Brooke Trading Centre on Tuesday morning, February 3, 2026. Witnesses reported she checked in with three men on Monday night.

• The victim sustained stab wounds and was found on a bed in a lodging room.
• One man believed to have been with the woman has been arrested, and a manhunt is underway for the two others who fled.
• Two lodging caretakers who booked the group are also in custody at Brooke Police Station.
