The Azimio la Umoja–One Kenya Coalition Party has appointed Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as its new party leader following a National Executive Council meeting chaired by former president Uhuru Kenyatta. This major leadership reshuffle occurred as Raphael Tuju officially resigned from his position as Executive Director of the coalition. Tuju announced his resignation in a letter to coalition chairman Uhuru Kenyatta.
