The Azimio La Umoja coalition has undergone significant leadership changes following the passing of Raila Odinga, with Kalonzo Musyoka named the new party leader. These decisions were made in a meeting and subsequently communicated to the Registrar of Political Parties.

• Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front, has been appointed the new Azimio party leader.
• Junet Mohamed has been removed as Secretary General, a position now held by Suba North lawmaker Caroli Omondi.
• Philip Kisia has taken over as Executive Director, replacing Raphael Tuju.
• The changes were officially submitted to Registrar of Political Parties John Loronokou on February 2, 2026.
• The coalition also plans to welcome new political parties in preparation for the 2027 General Election.
