The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has successfully recovered a Mercedes-Benz GLK350d stolen from a Nairobi garage, following a forensic investigation and a high-speed pursuit. The luxury vehicle, reported missing on January 30, 2026, was found along Mombasa Road in Kajiado South Sub-County.

• The vehicle was reported stolen from a garage in Nairobi’s Spring Valley area after being booked for a paint job.
• Investigators from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB), with assistance from Gigiri and Imbirikani police stations, located the vehicle.
• Suspects abandoned the car at a roadblock and fled on foot into nearby thickets, with no arrests made at the scene.
• The recovered vehicle had a false front registration plate, KDR 003N, fitted to evade detection.
