Lodwar Township MCA Ruth Kuya angrily stated that the bodies of six people killed in a recent attack in Kakong village were still in the mortuary, emphasizing that security must be prioritized over petroleum issues.
Siaya Senator Dr. Oburu Odinga, co-chairing the session, acknowledged the severity of the crisis and promised to escalate the matter to President William Ruto, urging Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to intervene.
