The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has declared a job advertisement offering over 200 short-term Ajira jobs in courts across Kenya as fake. The fraudulent notice, which used the Judiciary logo and coat of arms, was posted on Thursday, February 5.

• The fake notice claimed to be recruiting digitization agents under the Ajira Phase II programme for tasks like data entry, scanning, and team leadership, with assignments ranging from five to 54 days.
• Various government bodies, including the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), have recently warned the public about similar recruitment scams.
• The JSC advises the public to access official job opportunities through its recruitment portal or official social media accounts.
