The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has appointed Moses Ledama Sunkuli as its Acting Chief Executive Officer and Commission Secretary, effective immediately. This appointment follows the recent exit of Marjan Hussein.

• Sunkuli previously served as the IEBC's Director of Electoral Operations.
• He will serve in this interim capacity for at least six months or until a substantive CEO is recruited.
