The High Court at Milimani has issued a temporary injunction preventing Kileleshwa Ward MCA Robert Alai from posting defamatory content about Advocate Danstan Omari. The orders were granted by Lady Justice Janet Mulwa in response to a defamation suit filed by Omari.

• Omari accused Alai of publishing derogatory, contemptuous, and dehumanizing statements on his Facebook account.
• The alleged defamatory post garnered over 2,200 reactions and more than 900 comments, reaching Alai's approximately 729,000 followers.
• Omari argues the publication damaged his reputation, caused distress to clients, and led to a loss of income, violating Section 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018, and Article 28 of the Constitution.
• Pre-trial directions for the case are scheduled for March 4, 2026.
