Moses Nduya Muthama, son of Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu and former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama, has died after collapsing at his home in Mua. He was rushed to a nearby health facility for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.

• He developed breathing complications before being taken to hospital.
• His death is the second major loss for the family, following the passing of his sister, Janet Njoki, in 2022.
• Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti confirmed Nduya had been appointed a county director in charge of administration in 2024.
