President William Ruto announced that numerous job opportunities are now available for Kenyan youth, attributing this to government programs and policies. He spoke during the disbursement of Ksh.147 million NYOTA Business Start-Up Capital to 5,880 young entrepreneurs in Mombasa.

• 500,000 youths are currently working in the housing sector across 240 construction sites.
• The National Employment Authority portal has facilitated 530,000 young people finding work abroad in the past three years.
• More than 180,000 young people have secured jobs in the digital space through established digital hubs and Jitume labs.
• The government plans to build an additional 30,500km of roads, including 2,500km of dual carriageways.
• Mombasa County has 14,000 affordable housing units under construction, with Ksh.1 billion to be invested in a new stadium.
