The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has reported the recovery of two more bodies of Kenyan citizens, Ombwori Denis Bagaka, 39, and Wahome Simon Gititu, 35, who were allegedly fighting for Russia near Lyman in the Donetsk region. This brings the confirmed deaths of Kenyan recruits in the conflict to at least three, with Clinton Nyapara Mogesa previously reported killed in the same area.
