The 2026 Magical Kenya Open Golf Championship will feature a significantly tougher course at the Karen Country Club in Nairobi, where 144 golfers will compete for a US$2.7 million prize fund. The updated course includes narrower fairways, longer tees, and two traditionally par-five holes now playing as par fours, reducing the course from a par 72 to a par 70 for the tournament.

• Chairman of the International Golf tournaments Committee, Andy Watt, stated that adjustments include reshaping and enlarging green-side bunkers, improving tee box surfaces, and extending tees to increase the challenge.
• Past winners from 2019 onwards, including Guido Migliozzi, Justin Harding, Ashun Wu, Jorge Campillo, Darius van Driel, and Jacques Kruyswijk, are confirmed to participate, as announced by Kenya Open Golf Limited chairman Patrick Obath.
