Chinese President Xi Jinping extended Spring Festival greetings to the country's military veterans at a gala in Beijing. Xi, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), encouraged the veterans to continue their support for the Party and the military.
