A search is underway for Edna Mmbali Ombakho, a 30-year-old Kenyan student, who went missing in the United Kingdom over a week ago. Her family in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, raised the alarm after losing contact with her.

Edna, a Master’s student at York St. John University (London campus), was last seen on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Wraysbury, Berkshire.
The Thames Valley Police are actively investigating the disappearance and have recorded a statement from her boyfriend, with whom she had been residing since December 2024.
She is approximately 5ft 5in tall, of small build, described as soft-spoken, and was last seen wearing a khaki long coat with a fur-lined hood, knee-high boots, and glasses.
