A clinical officer at Chemaner Health Center in Bomet County, Kenya, has been arrested for allegedly raping a pregnant woman during a medical visit. The suspect was reportedly caught in a compromising position after the victim raised an alarm.

• The suspect, identified as Eric Langat, also known as Kirinyet, was apprehended at his hideout.
• The incident occurred at Chemaner Health Center, with the victim subsequently taken to Longisa County Referral Hospital for medical examination and counseling.
• Bomet East Sub-County Police Commander Michael Singa confirmed the arrest and stated the suspect will remain in custody pending arraignment.
