Old Mutual East Africa has partnered with insurtech firm Agencify to enhance its digital insurance distribution and expand market reach across Kenya. This collaboration aims to leverage Agencify’s digital platform to empower independent insurance agents and streamline the rollout of insurance products.

• The partnership will support independent insurance agents, automate workflows like client onboarding and policy administration, and improve operational efficiency.
• Japheth Ogalloh, Managing Director of Old Mutual General Insurance, stated the collaboration will expand connectivity with customers and support agents with technology.
• Ayisi Makatiani, Group CEO of Caava Group and Founder of Agencify, highlighted that agents will now be able to generate quotes and issue certificates within minutes via mobile.
• The initiative is expected to deepen insurance uptake in Kenya by making insurance more accessible and efficient, reaching underserved segments.
