Kenya recently hosted the Third Italy–Africa Space Leaders Meeting in Malindi, signifying Africa's growing influence in global space governance. This event, co-hosted by the Kenya Space Agency (KSA) and the Italian Space Agency, aimed to enhance cooperation ahead of Italy's presidency of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) for 2026–2027.
