This action prevents any dealings on the contested land for six months pending investigations into alleged unlawful alienation of public land.
- The preserved property, L.R No. 209/12673 (now L.R No. 209/21526), was allegedly transferred to Mohamed Adan Khalif on February 5, 2021.
- The EACC is investigating the alleged unlawful alienation of public land originally reserved for public utility in the Parklands area, adjacent to North Highridge Primary School.
- The land was initially set aside for a social hall, but investigations suggest letters of allotment were issued to private individuals in July 1995 based on an unapproved plan, with the then Commissioner of Lands allegedly facilitating unlawful alienation.
