The National Assembly has invited Kenyans and stakeholders to submit input on the 2026 Budget Policy Statement and the Medium-Term Debt Management Strategy. This public participation aligns with Article 118(1)(b) of the Constitution.

Submissions for the Budget Policy Statement go to the Budget and Appropriations Committee, and for the debt strategy to the Public Debt and Privatization Committee.
The deadline for all memoranda is 5:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2026.
The documents were tabled on February 11, 2026, by the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning.
