TikTok removed over 580,000 videos in Kenya between July and September 2025 for violating its Community Guidelines, intensifying its efforts to police content. The majority of these removals, 99.7%, were proactively flagged by automated moderation tools before user reports.

• TikTok also interrupted roughly 90,000 live sessions in Kenya for breaching content policies.
