The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a stern warning to Kenyans about a fraudulent recruitment scheme promising non-existent jobs in Luxembourg. This alert follows a probe by the State Department of Diaspora Affairs revealing individuals and organisations falsely acting as employment agents and charging fees for recruitment and processing.

• Luxembourg's Public Employment Service, Agence pour le Développement de l'Emploi (ADEM), does not permit direct employment recruitment and no individual or private entity is authorized to collect fees for job placement.
• Principal Secretary for Diaspora Affairs Roseline Njogu urged Kenyans to verify overseas opportunities through official government channels via +254114757002 or the official kazi majuu email.
• The warning comes shortly after a similar advisory from the Kenyan Embassy in Moscow on Sunday, February 15, cautioning citizens against unverified job offers in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
