Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi has been indefinitely expelled from Parliament by Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetang’ula, following derogatory remarks made by the legislator.

• Kibagendi was expelled from the House yesterday for alluding that the House "has been auctioned".
• The Speaker explicitly stated that Kibagendi will be excluded from all House proceedings, the precincts of Parliament, committee sittings, and his office.
• Kibagendi is expected to issue an apology for his statements.
