At the 14th annual AWS re:Invent conference in early December 2025 in Las Vegas, Matt Garman, CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS), showcased AWS's dominance in the global cloud infrastructure market and its leadership in AI innovation, unveiling the "Age of Agents."

• AWS has become a $132 billion (Sh17 trillion) business, growing 20 percent year over year, with an absolute growth of approximately $22 billion in the last year alone.
• AWS boasts the largest and most broadly deployed AI Cloud infrastructure globally, with a network of data centers spanning 38 regions and 120 availability zones, serving millions of customers.
• The firm added 3.8 gigawatts (GW) of data center capacity in the last year and operates the world’s largest private network, which has expanded by 50 percent, totaling over nine million kilometers of cabling.
• Amazon Bedrock, one of AWS's database services, powers over 100,000 companies worldwide, and the United States intelligence community has relied on AWS for over a decade.
• Sony Group Corporation, led by Chief Digital Officer and CEO John Kodera, utilized AWS for its digital transformation and global footprint, notably during the launch of PlayStation 5.
