Esperance Sportive de Tunis has appointed French coach Patrice Beaumelle as their new head coach, signing him until June 2027.

• Beaumelle replaces Maher Kanzari, who was dismissed following disappointing results.
• His first major challenge will be facing Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
• Beaumelle brings significant continental experience, having been part of Zambia's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winning team and Cote d’Ivoire's winning team in 2015.
