The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has refuted claims of a security breach at Kisumu International Airport following allegations by opposition leaders of intimidation and the presence of "goons."

• KAA stated that airport security protocols were fully enforced and passenger safety was not compromised.
• Opposition leaders, including Edwin Sifuna, had alleged that unauthorized individuals were present and that airlines shared passenger details, prompting them to alter travel plans.
• Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo dismissed the accusations, warning against attempts to incite unrest.
