Kenya has launched a specialized Counter-Terrorism (CT) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) curriculum to strengthen its capacity in prosecuting terrorism-related offences and transnational organized crime.

• The curriculum officially launched on February 23, 2026, equips prosecutors and law enforcement with advanced skills.
• The initiative was spearheaded by Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Renson Ingonga.
• Lessons from significant cases like the DusitD2 attack and a bio-terrorism plot have been incorporated, alongside international legal instruments and modules on cyber-crimes and cryptocurrency investigations.
