The Trump Organization has announced plans to build what is purported to be Australia’s tallest building, a $1bn skyscraper on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

The planned Trump International Hotel & Tower, Gold Coast will stand at 335 metres (1,100ft) high.
The project is led by Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization.
Construction is slated to begin in August, though a rival twin-tower project is also proposed on the same stretch of beach.
