Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has launched a comprehensive digital land mapping and geo-referencing exercise in several towns to bring order to urban areas and resolve land disputes.

• The initiative, currently underway in Kutus and Kagio, aims to strengthen planning and revenue systems by accurately identifying and documenting every plot of land.

• The exercise addresses issues like double land allocation and irregular documentation inherited from defunct local authorities, ensuring proper ownership and safeguarding public land.
