AMPATH Kenya has launched a new national breast cancer care initiative aimed at improving access to high-quality treatment and reducing the disease's burden across the country.

• The initiative, Integrated Model for Access, Retention and Advanced Breast Cancer Care, spans three years.
• Key figures include AMPATH Kenya and Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Dr. Ouma Oluga.
• The project will strengthen community awareness, healthcare worker capacity, service delivery, and patient navigation to reduce late-stage presentations and improve survival outcomes.
