A former Shakahola head of security testified in court that cult leader Paul Mackenzie buried his own breastfeeding infant in the forest settlement.

• Paul Mackenzie, linked to the deaths of over 450 followers, allegedly buried his infant in a village called Galilee.
• Witness Enos Amanya reported that bodies, including Mackenzie's child and his own daughter, were later exhumed and reburied deeper in the forest to conceal evidence.
• Amanya testified that Mackenzie urged followers to "take a jet to heaven," which was code for a deadly fast, and that Mackenzie portrayed modern medicine as witchcraft.
