8 hospital owners and directors are set to face charges including conspiracy to defraud, operating unlicensed facilities, and acquisition of proceeds of crime.
A KMPDC official, Harun Liluma, faces charges related to unauthorized computer access, abuse of office, and computer fraud.
Investigations revealed that unlicensed clinics allegedly received payments through false registration and claims between January 28 and February 24, 2026.
