A Super Metro bus is under investigation after a 25-year-old passenger, Joseph Mureithi, was allegedly thrown from the moving vehicle and subsequently run over on the Kitengela-Namanga Highway on Tuesday night.

• The bus, KDK 060H, was impounded and two crew members arrested by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
• Joseph Mureithi, a petrol attendant, died from injuries sustained after being ejected from the bus that then ran over him.
• This incident is the latest in a series of complaints against Super Metro regarding passenger safety and crew conduct.
